Helpful Tips and Reminders

• 🐕 Small-medium dogs typically do well with duck necks.

• Meaty bones have added benefits from jaw exercise to teeth cleaning, always feed meaty bones under supervision.

    Awesome

By Elisabeth on January 29, 2021

I was hesitant to give my dog the duck neck bones, but he loved them. I am so happy I ordered them! They're a great treat.

    Great as always!!

By Grace on July 22, 2020

These duck necks are the perfect size for my pit/lab mix. Chicken necks, way too small, and turkey necks... well, he'll still eat them but they're a bit big to feed often! These are very fresh looking, no smell (not that duck smells lol), and they're very flexible too! We use them for a good percentage of our bone content just because they're so conveniently sized & there's quite a bit of product in these bags too! I can tell this is going to be one of our staple items! I'm always impressed with the quality & pricing on the products here. You guys rock :)

My dog's favorite raw meaty bone

By Wanda on April 3, 2020

Good price and quality and they came packaged really well.

    My ferrets LOVE THESE!

By Bryn on May 31, 2019

All four of my ferrets get so excited when I put down a plate of chopped duck neck. I recently transitioned two new rescue ferrets to raw and this is the first item they really dug into. I will continue feeding these along with chicken necks! Great way to get bone in their diets.

    Great Addition to Diet

By denise on January 21, 2019

Purchased these last time and now can't do without them. #1 they make excellent bone broth for your dog. #2 They were too big for my toy breed but thanks to another reviewer I now smash them pretty flat with a hammer so I can tease them into smaller chunks he can manage. It's extra work for me, but boy does he appreciate the results! One of his favorites and a good way to change things up.

    Nice Snack

By Rosie on May 7, 2018

I have tried holding this snack for my Frenchie, but it just got messy and now I divide the necks into three pieces and he just gobbles them up.

    Perfect size

By Sarah on April 9, 2018

I use duck almost exclusively for bone content. We only do necks every few months to avoid thyroid issues, but these are a good price and always good quality. They are a nice size for my so-so chewers - not overwhelming like turkey necks, but still a little bit of a challenge unlike chicken necks.

    Repeat Buyer

By Rosemarie on September 27, 2017

These duck necks are one of our favorites. Clean and fresh looking and smelling. Well packaged and always arrive frozen solidly. Nice alternative to chicken drumsticks for bone content, and better looking than any chicken drumstick I can source at the grocery. Thanks for the care you take with the products you sell. have 3 very well nourished guys, thanks to your products.

    Great purchase!

By Sarah on August 9, 2017

I purchased these duck necks for my Labrador. His teeth are quite grimy from all the years on kibble so I thought these would be great for his teeth - lots of crunching going on when he eats them. The necks are a perfect size for him and very fresh. We love everything we've purchased from Hare Today Gone Tomorrow and these necks are no exception!

    Primal Mode :)

By Esther on July 7, 2017

I give my 15lb Boston Terrier half of one of the necks twice a week.
To this day, she still stares at me in disbelief when I give her one, as if asking, "Is this for me?" -- I usually feed her ground raw food; she's not used to meats still intact to bones and cartilage. She starts by licking the duck neck while looking at me (I think she's waiting for me to take it away), I leave it down on a towel where then she eventually tears it apart.
It's really fun to watch her just get back into her ancestral beast mode when she goes to town and tears the neck apart; I hear the crunch sound it makes when she chews on it with the back of her teeth and I love to watch her hold it with her front paws while she tries to tear it off with her teeth. Keeps my dog's teeth cleaner, btw. No odor on the product or my dog's breath after she eats it.
My dog likes to swallow faster than she should before properly chewing, so she sometimes has it lodged in her throat but she always manages to regurgitate it back out. **Please keep an eye on your pets when feeding**

    YUMMY to my gsd's tummy!

By Leanne on September 19, 2016

My german shepherd absolutely loves these duck necks. They are the perfect size and always super fresh!!

    Quick snack or extra treat

By Sharla on June 15, 2016

I repackaged these individually and froze them. For a German Shepherd Dog who is a powerful chewer these are great for a quick snack or treat. She thinks they are great.

    All around great

By Ryan on May 17, 2016

Perfect size for my dogs, they love the taste, and it's always fun to give them different neck proteins. Can't wait to order again!

    Favorite Midday Snack

By Kim on May 1, 2016

We feed our 23 pound whippet mix twice a a day, but like to give her a treat while we eat lunch. She gets some small animal part as a treat, but the duck necks are clearly her favorite. These are on our order every time.

    Scotties love these

By Dorothy on April 23, 2016

My two Scottish Terriers love crunching on their duck neck. I was away from raw feeding for a time. Recently I went back to it do to allergies. So far I see great results. Duck is a protein they were not familiar with. Dogs seem to know it is good for them. Will keep duck necks stocked in my freezer.

GREAT RAW BONE ADDITION TO HOMEMADE PET FOOD

By GINNY on March 11, 2016

I purchase locally pastured poultry/meat for ourselves. Many times it doesn't contain bone or organs. To convert it to raw pet food I add in Hare Today ground chicken or turkey organs, and I fine grind Hare Today's duck necks for raw bone content. The duck neck bone comes out fine and the cats always consume all of it and never spit pieces out.

    Cats like these as treats.

By Danielle on March 5, 2016

My cats aren't a big fan of these. They'll get 1/3 of the way through one and then leave the rest. It could be their tired after eating it? I used the rest of the bag for bone broth. Worked out well. 4 star review only because cats weren't it. Always great products!

Response Hare Today: If these are a bit to large for cats or very small dogs place between a couple sheets of foil and smash with a hammer to break up more.

    Great product

By Tracey on March 2, 2016

These are a great size for my 10, 12, 15, and 18 pound dogs.

By Zakiyyah on June 23, 2014

The duck necks are absolutely on the list of favorite foods for my cats. The necks are substantial in length. I cut them in half and give each cat a half as a snack or an added treat to their meal. It's amazing to watch how quickly they devour these necks.

I recommend the duck necks as an addition to your pet's raw food regimen.

By Dorothy on February 23, 2014

This is the first time I purchased duck necks here. However, my two small dogs are no stranger to them. They both love the neck and the crunching on them keeps their teeth clean and free from tarter.

By Marina on June 21, 2013

My pup loves the duck necks. Every time I take one out of the freezer she gets all happy and runs to her bowl. Thank you Tracy!

By Lou Ann on February 3, 2012

I am a new customer to Hare Today. Received my first shipments yesterday. I have just started about 2 wks. ago feeding my 7 dogs the raw meaty bone diet. Which is coming
along fine. Tonight I gave them the duck necks for their dinner so they would have their meaty bone for the day. They disappeared very fast. In fact I have one or two that
I am having to watch because they gobble down their portions then go steal the 2 little guys away from them. On inspecting the packages yesterday before putting them in the freezer
I must say I am very pleased with the appearance of the meats I chose to try. I was very impressed with the care in the packaging for shipping. It was much better than many of the
things I have purchased for the family (humans) from different companys. I will be a repeat shopper & would highly recommend Hare Today to anyone interested in their pets & love them as much as I do my 7. I am anixous to see what they think of the tripe strips. The duck necks were of different sizes being some larger than other so there wasn't but about 12 in the package. But for the price couldn't go wrong anyway. Hare Today I am going to be a repeat shopper. Thank You for all your time, work, dedication to your family, farm, aminals, customers & our pets.

By Michael on January 31, 2012

These are the perfect size for both our smaller dogs, which are 13 and 10 pounds each. They are larger than chicken necks, but not too large. It's easy for them to eat! They get one or two for a dinner meal

By Jessica on March 24, 2009

My cat loves these duck necks! They are just the right size so that it takes him awhile to eat them, he can't just scarf them down like he does some other things. 1 neck is a perfect meal for my big boy (16 pounds big), so he's not begging for more food when he's done. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a good meal for their cat or dog.
