Nutrition and Benefits

• This food is low in Sodium. It is also a good source of Protein, Riboflavin, Pantothenic Acid, Phosphorus and Selenium, and a very good source of Vitamin B12.
• Beef Pancreas is offered as an alternative to treating dogs with pancreatic problems. Some dogs do well with raw pancreas alone, others will still need enzymes but may require less of a dosage.
• The suggested dosage of raw pancreas is 3 to 4 ounces per 44 lbs. of the dog’s weight daily.

• Frozen pancreas, when used for medicinal purposes, is effective for 3 months.
• Organs are very rich and packed full of vitamins and minerals. Excess organ in the diet can lead to loose stools.
• This is a high demand item and sells out weekly. First come first serve.
• Remember, we process pancreas on Thursdays each week depending on supply availability. Inventory is typically added around 4:30 pm EST. following our processing days.

Pancreas is extremely hard for me to find. Hare Today Gone Tomorrow’s pancreas is extremely good quality and it helps my dogs tremendously.

I have two problem dogs - one GSD with EPI and one Malinois with IBD. For the EPI GSD I use the ground beef pancreas instead of the enzymes. It's made a huge difference - solid (dark) bowel movements, no gurgling stomach or acid reflux, no gas, less burping. Huge life saver!

When my dog developed EPI, I was terrified that I would lose her. She lost 20% of her body weight in a few weeks and although she ate ravenously she kept losing weight and could only lay on the floor wasting away before by eyes.
A vet diagnosed her with EPI and I found Hare Today while I was researching the disease. When the first box arrived she was all over it. She started on 2 ounces twice day and quickly regained her health. She is now down to 1 and 1/2 ounce per day and is in perfect health.
I am so grateful for Hare Today and their products. Some of the EPI information warns against buying from butchers and other sources as handling may be an issue but since Hare Today specializes in these foods I feel safe ordering from them and today Willow is a happy, healthy dog.
Oh, and the cost is about a third of what I would have paid for enzyme powder,

I use a small amount of the ground beef pancreas whenever I dilute bone % in Tracy's poultry mixes! It's texture is very wet, a bit creamy. Because I already feed many grinds with kidney added, this beef pancreas is something different that I can add easily into my trio's rotation in their poultry grinds.

This pancreas has save my GSD General Patton's life! She love to eat it and there are no longer any stomach issues from her EPI disease, It has saved us hundreds of dollars as well since we no longer have to purchase the powdered pancreas from the vet at $160 a month.

Hello, my name is Toya. The ground beef pancreas is just what my dog needed to re-gain her health. With her daily consumption she went from a 44 lb sickly dog to a 72 lb healthy (almost fat) German Shephard. I was able to take her off of prescription dog food and harsh powder by feeding her the pancreas. Ordering is easy and , there are no problems on shipping. My husband and I have 7 beautiful cats we share our lives with. Sadly we lost our big boy, Bart, in January too early (he was only 16) to dietary related issues (kibble!!). When our gorgeous Siamese mix, Sammy, became ill around the same time Bart died, and after spending over $2500 at a well-known veterinary teaching hospital only to find out he would be on drugs and have issues for the rest of his life, we took matters into our own hands and hit the books. Finding and reading Michelle Bernard's book \"Raising Cats Naturally\" and being directed to this website to source the species-correct meats for our cats literally saved Sammy's life. My \"kids\" have a healthy, species appropriate diet now of raw rabbit daily (with the occasional pheasant, quail or chicken meal thrown in for variety) and they are all thriving! Sammy is recovering, slowly but surely. If we had stayed on the earlier path, we have no doubt he would be dead by now. Our cats love the rabbit pieces which we mix with the ground whole meat and add the appropriate supplements. For a treat, they get the dehydrated rabbits' feet and act like the kittens they are when they get them. Thank you, Tracy, for giving us pet owners this option, to have a source for the appropriate foods our companion animals need, and to do it in such a humane, organic and farm-friendly manner. Love the ground pancreas as an addition to our two dogs' raw diet. The pancreas worked wonders for us when we were starting out raw-feeding over a year ago. The enzymes in the pancreas really helped our dogs' stomachs as they were transitioning onto 100% raw. A dog previously on kibble will show sensitivity to the yummies that are in raw and this can cause pancreatic problems. This is a much better alternative to expensive human-made powder supllements. At this point we drop a tablespoon or two in with a meal just for maintanence. This pancreas has an interesting texture that is unlike anything I've encountered since raw-feeding. It's quite gooey and gummy. It's the only thing I consistently wrinkle my nose at but it's worth it. Basically we feed pancreas to help their pancreas.

I purchased this product for my GSD with Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency after his need for powdered enzyme increased to 18 teaspoons a day. The cost was beyond my means. He is only 4 years old, but we had to seriously consider euthanasia or rescue, either option was breaking our hearts.
It's been 2 weeks now and his stool is firm, his coat is good, and I think he's gaining weight ( his ribs aren't as visible).
