Boneless Ground Rabbit, 1 lb
My cat has been eating rabbit for several years. It's the only thing that keeps his ph levels where they should be. Before rabbit he had several bouts of urinary blockage. He even spent 2 days at a Auburn Vet School trying to determine what was causing the ph problem. Most vets and this vet school wanted him to eat the prepared urinary tract medical diet. One made his ph too high and the other too low. Scared I was going to loose him I decided to switch him to a raw diet and used rabbit because it was a meat he had not been eating. Within three days his ph levels were normal. Now, I'm bravely trying a one pound package of mouse. Must admit the mouse seems a bit creepy, but if Puku likes it and he is well on it, I'll get used to eat. I'll see how he feels about eating it first. By the way, all the urinary tract problems arose while Puku was on his way to a national win in the Cat Fanciers Association. He was 18th best cat in the US in 2005. Puku is a chocolate spotted ocicat. Official name, GC, NW, Tribal Kambara Puku of Spots O'Lot. He and I share a heart it seems and I'd to anything to keep him healthy. Since this exerience with Puku I have recommeded a raw diet to many people who had pets with digestive disorders etc. Raw has never failed to prove successful.
